How Can I Make Your Day?

I’m Angela Day — former textile and surface designer, BFA in painting, and someone who has never once run out of things to make.  I live in Chappaqua, NY with my husband, son and two dogs.

Most of my 20+ year career was spent at Ralph Lauren Home, designing for bedding, bath, and home accessories. I’ve also worked at Martha Stewart, Converse, Edward Fields Carpet Makers, Donghia Textiles, and Niermann Weeks Furniture Design. Along the way I’ve participated in painting residencies like the Vermont Studio Center and kept a studio practice that refused to stay in one medium.

Post-corporate life looks like this: drawing, painting, sewing, costume-making, upholstery, 

3D modeling and printing, calligraphy, sign painting, embroidering, laser cutting, gardening, flower arranging, DIY home decorating, party decorating — and yes, presiding as president of my neighborhood association.

Now I’m taking all of that out into the world. Think of me as your friendly neighborhood creative handyperson — here to help bring your ideas to life.
